About Civil Engineering
Civil engineering is inseparable from the development of human civilization. Civil Engineering can be viewed as the cornerstone and engine of the economic and social development of Taiwan in the past.
The predecessor of NTUCE was the Department of Civil Engineering of the Imperial College of Taipei, which was established in 1928. From the Top Ten Constructions of the 1970s which was carried out to improve infrastructure and launch industrial upgrading, the New Top Ten Construction in the 2000s, and the current Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program, we partook in nearly every important occasions.
