Keystone Courses (Elective Courses)

Second year Civil Engineering students interested in hands-on projects are invited to enroll in the following 3 optional courses, called Keystone B, C and D, in Spring 2021.

Each course is worth 2 credits and includes a collaborative workshop with another university (Shih Chien University Dept. of Architecture, National Chung Hsing University Dept. of Soil and Water Conservation, and National Cheng Kung University Dept. of Architecture).

Keystone 2021 (Courses B&D will partly be taught in English):

  1. Keystone B:
    寶藏巖輕量級工作營 Treasure Hill Topology Workshop
    抗震盃結構試作 Earthquake-Resistant Tower Project

    壩堤實驗、監測&設計分析

  1. Keystone D:
    小型飛行器實作 Micro Air Vehicle Project
    臺南浮體結構工作營 Tainan Floating Structure Workshop
    (by Prof. Hervé CAPART & Kuo-Cheng CHANG)

Keystone B and D will be partly run in English as needed for international students. Keystone C also welcomes international students, but will be run in Chinese. The three projects are described in detail as attached.
