A. Deadline for processes regarding dissertation defense:

Deadline for application: April 30, 2020
Deadline for conducting defense: July 31, 2020
Deadline for withdrawal: July 31, 2020
Deadline for submitting dissertation: August 20, 2020

B. To apply for dissertation defense and to graduate this semester after successfully finished the defense, please visit myntu and select Online Application System for the Oral Thesis/Dissertation Defenses.

C. If you have applied the dissertation defense but cannot finish it this semester, please withdraw it before July 31, 2020. If you do not withdraw the defense before the deadline and do not conduct it, you will be considered as failing it once.

D. The transcript can be obtained by sending an inquiry via e-mail to Mr. Danny Shen ( tcshen@ntu.edu.tw ) in department office.

According to past experience, the application for Dissertation Defense is often returned due to incomplete data. It is advised to apply the defense 2 to 3 weeks in advance to prevent exceeding deadline (April 30) when preparing required documents.
