The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program at UC San Diego is planned as an in-person and on-campus Summer Program. This is a self-funded summer research program and is open to all domestic and international undergraduate students interested in conducting multidisciplinary and cutting-edge for eight (8) weeks at UC San Diego.
Topic: Designing for Safety and Safety by Design
Eligibility:
- Enrolled undergraduate students
- GPA 3.0 and higher
- Major in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM)
Application Deadline: February 15, 2023
Acceptance Notification: April 1, 2023
Program Dates: June 18 to August 12, 2023 (8 weeks)
Costs: $5,000 (due May 15 and upon acceptance and includes registration, research supplies, and technical and enrichment seminars)
On-Campus Housing (optional): ~ $3,000
