Job description
To help with cornerstone and keystone courses, the NTU Dept of Civil Engineering is looking to recruit undergraduate student teaching assistants (STAs) for the Fall 2021 semester. Responsibilities will include course preparation work starting Wednesday September 1, 2021 as well as teaching support and student mentoring throughout the semester.

Qualifications sought
General qualifications include enthusiasm and experience with hands-on design, fabrication and engineering projects. Students in their third or fourth year of study who have done well in previous keystone project courses are especially encouraged to apply.
Special qualifications sought for some of the courses next semester include:
– Experience with rendering, AutoCAD and/or Matlab (Conceptual design studio)
– Experience with computer programming and/or traffic modeling software (Keystone A)
– Experience with structural design, fabrication and modeling (MIDAS) (Keystone B)
– Good English communications skills (for STAs who will tutor section in English).

Salary
6000 NT$/month
