Job description

To help with hands-on project courses, the NTU Dept. of Civil Engineering is looking to recruit several undergraduate student teaching assistants (STAs) for the Spring 2022 semester. Responsibilities will include course preparation work starting Wednesday January 12, 2022 as well as teaching support and student mentoring throughout the semester.

Qualifications sought

General qualifications include enthusiasm and experience with hands-on design, fabrication and engineering projects. Students in their second, third or fourth year of study who have done well in previous project courses are especially encouraged to apply.
Special qualifications sought for some of the courses next semester include:
– Experience with Arduino or Matlab (Civil engineering models lab)
– Experience with UAV surveying (Keystone C) or Matlab (Keystone D)
– Experience with structural design, fabrication and modeling (MIDAS) (Wooden structure design)
– Good English communications skills (for STAs who will tutor section in English).

Salary

6000 NT$/month
