If you want to apply to attend required courses outside the Department of Civil Engineering, you can get an application form in the Department Office (Eligibility will be checked simultaneously). Please finish the application before the 3rd week of classes (2021.03.12). Late application will not be accepted.

In regards to attending required courses in other departments:
1. Under special circumstances to apply for attending required courses in other departments, the following requirements must be fulfilled:

• (i) The course opened by our department was already attended and failed. However, if the course is opened by our department this semester and does not share the same schedule with other required courses, the application will be denied.
• (ii) The names of both courses must be the same or only differ in the suffix e.g. (I), (II). The credits of both courses must also be the same (or is more than the course in our department).
• (iii) Approvals from the course’s instructor and the Department Chair is required beforehand.

The requirement (i) can be eliminated for double major students with agreement from the course’s instructor and the Department Chair.

2. The course description of the course by other department must be reviewed by the course instructor from our department first. Only courses with similar course outline can be applied.

3. Ask for approvals from our department’s course instructor before asking opinions from other department.
