結構工程組簡介 自民國三十四年土木系創立,本系即有結構專長之教授從事結構工程相關領域之研究與教學,至於結構工程組之設置則可溯至土木工程研究所之分組招生開始。在此期間,結構工程組由原來每年招生四人,增至目前碩士班招生人數每年超過五十名,而博士班每年亦有五名以上之畢業生; 在師資方面,更由原來五名之專任教師增至目前之十六人,其專長涵蓋了與結構工程相關之各領域。 本系在結構工程上之學術研究領域從早期開始,受美歐研究趨勢、國內經濟成長與工程建設、及計算機之發展與普及等諸多因素之影響,一直在擴充與更迭,始終居於國內相關學術研究領域之領導地位。以目前而言,本系在結構工程上的研究可分為以下幾個方面:
在面臨世界性的經濟衝擊與國內的產業轉型等因素的影響下,未來本系結構工程研究發展方向與營建技術研究之關係將更形密切,重點包括:營建自動化、結構自動監測系統、結構安全評估等。 此外,由於台灣地處環太平洋地震帶,結構物的設計屬由地震力所控制,本系乃於民國六十七年在台大工學院下成立地震工程研究中心,積極推動與領導國內在地震工程方面的研究,稍後更促成國科會與本校合設國家地震工程研究中心。近年來,國人漸漸意識到天然災害對生命財產、經濟產業的影響至鉅,防災工程已成為未來國內科技發展之重點,此一趨勢亦將使得本組在地震工程研究上的投入顯得更加重要。 |

The education and research in structural engineering started with the foundation of the Department of Civil Engineering of this University in 1945. Presently, there are 16 faculty members and approximately 70 graduate students each year enrolled in M.S. and Ph.D. programs of structural engineering. The research topics in structural engineering can be categorized as follows.
For future research in structural engineering, it is expected that the research programs of structural engineering in this Department will become closely related to the development in construction techniques, such as construction automation, smart monitoring system of structures, safety assessment and strengthening of structures. Besides, the demand in innovation of the techniques for disaster prevention has been recognized due to the natural disasters threatening Taiwan such as earthquakes and typhoons. Therefore, it is also expected that more efforts will be directed to the research in earthquake engineering and wind engineering. |
